In-situ remediation is by far the most cost effective method to resolve large scale contamination challenges – whether the contamination originates from mining and industry, from inadequate sanitation and wastewater infrastructure, from farming pesticides or other spills or pollution related to human activities. The solution comes also with attractive environmental and social benefits.


  • The biochemical remediation process happens in the aquifer, natures free bioreactor. Boreholes for injections and sensors are the only fixed elements
  • Solution is very light on energy – grid connections are rarely a necessity
  • Reagents are sourced locally, if possible to minimize transport and other costing
  • A thorough site investigation precedes all implementations to ensure the required results at most affordable way and that any thinkable risks are mitigated and eliminated

Note: In-situ remediation and treatment isn’t applicable in all situations. For example, the method isn’t able to remove certain salts like chloride and fluoride on its own and economic feasibility is typically subject to sufficient scale. All cases will be evaluated on case by case basis.
